Thee Coffee
Coffee is a non-negotiable for many people and I certainly would put myself directly in the center of that category. Depending on my mood, I’m OK to drink any kind of coffee (within reason). However, sometimes you just want something different. I think I have found exactly that at Thee Coffee in Kumagawa Juku.
Thee Coffee is a unique jazz café and coffee roastery combining specialty coffee that uses natural spring water from the nearby Uriwari Falls, and analogue jazz records.
The building housing THEE COFFEE is approximately 158 years old. It was built in 1868.
The name “THEE” is an old English word meaning “you.” It reflects the owners’ wish to create a place where each visitor can enjoy a special moment, surrounded by the aroma of coffee and the sounds of jazz.
